If you didn’t update your iPhone 5 before November 3, 2019, it can no longer maintain accurate GPS location or use functions that rely on correct date and time, including App Store, iCloud, email, and web browsing. To prevent anyone else from accessing the data on your missing device, you can erase it remotely.
